Eoonia Wallet (com.gnoosis.eoonia) is the Empoorio ecosystem's self-custody wallet: it holds your keys, signs your transactions and lets you use the chain's applications. Self-custody means the keys are yours and live on your phone: we do not hold them and cannot recover them for you.
The data controller is Empoorio (https://empoorio.org). This policy covers the Eoonia Wallet Android app published on Google Play as com.gnoosis.eoonia. It does not cover the other apps in the ecosystem, each of which has its own. For any privacy matter: legal@empoorio.org.
This app does not ask you to register or create a profile with your personal data. No email, no password, no user name. Your identity is the EmpoorioChain account the app itself creates and keeps on your phone. The recovery phrase is generated on the phone and never leaves it. If you lose it, nobody — us included — can give you access back.
Keys and the recovery phrase are stored encrypted in your phone's secure storage. There is no server of ours holding your keys and no cloud backup. What is public is the chain: EmpoorioChain is an open blockchain, so the transactions you sign are written to it against your address and anyone can read them. That is not the app's choice: it is how a public chain works. The app uses Sentry to tell us when something breaks. What is sent is the error and the technical state at that moment — never your keys or your recovery phrase.
The app lets you protect the wallet with the fingerprint or face already set up on your phone. Android does the check and only tells the app whether it passed: the app never sees or stores your biometrics.
• It does not hold your keys and cannot sign for you. • No analytics: it does not measure what you do inside. • It does not ask for your location, camera, contacts or files. • It does not sell or share data. • It cannot undo a signed transaction: the chain is not rewritten.
Since there is no account and no server with your data, there is nothing for us to delete on request: uninstalling the app deletes the keys from the phone. Save your recovery phrase first. What is written on the chain cannot be deleted, by you or by us. Questions: legal@empoorio.org.
