Hawthorne, CA

SpaceX designs and builds its reusable Falcon rockets and spacecraft in Hawthorne, California. As a company, SpaceX is vertically integrated, building the vast majority of the vehicle on the Hawthorne campus, which remains one of the few facilities in the world where you can see an entire launch vehicle or spacecraft come together under one roof.

Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA

Located on the California coastline, SpaceX’s launch site at Vandenberg Space Force Base provides access to high inclination and polar orbits, frequently used by satellite communication constellations, defense intelligence and Earth-observing satellites, and some lunar missions. Launches from Space Launch Complex 4E at Vandenberg heading straight south traverse open ocean all the way to the Antarctic, by which time the vehicles have long since reached orbit.

Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL

SpaceX operations in Florida span across Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, which includes two active launch sites – Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) and Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) – Falcon booster and Dragon spacecraft refurbishing facilities, launch operations, and payload processing buildings. Both launch sites support critical missions to geostationary orbit and the International Space Station while also providing launch opportunities to a wide range of low, mid, and polar orbit inclinations for science and national security missions. SpaceX is expanding operations to bring Starship to Florida, with an orbital launch pad at LC-39A and two orbital launch pads at Space Launch Complex 37 (SLC-37).

McGregor, TX

SpaceX tests its engines, propulsion components, and high-energy systems at a 4,000-acre state-of-the-art rocket development facility in McGregor, Texas. Outfitted with dozens of specialized test stands, the facility validates for flight every Raptor engine that powers the Starship spacecraft and Super Heavy rocket, every Merlin engine that powers the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets, and every Draco thruster that controls the Dragon spacecraft.

Bastrop, TX

The majority of Starlink products are built at our manufacturing facility in Bastrop, Texas, which opened in 2023, producing tens of thousands of Starlink Kits per day and all of the current generation Starlink Standard and Performance Kits.

Redmond, WA

Starlink’s satellite manufacturing facility in Redmond, Washington produces our Starlink broadband and mobile satellites, including bus structures, phased-array antennas, propulsion, solar arrays, and inter-satellite lasers, enabling rapid Starlink constellation expansion.

Palo Alto, CA

This location houses our advanced AI research, development, and engineering teams and is strategically situated in Silicon Valley to attract and retain top AI research talent. The engineers responsible for the design, training, and continued evolution of Grok, our proprietary frontier AI model, are based at this facility

Memphis, TN / Southaven, MS

Home to our gigawatt-scale AI training cluster and largest coherent supercomputer, which includes our Colossus 1 and Colossus 2 data centers, in the Greater Memphis Area extending into northern Mississippi along the state border to power training and inference for frontier AI models, including the Grok family.

Terafab in Grime County, Texas will be an advanced semiconductor fab that will bridge the divide between current global chip supply and the compute demand of the future. The vertically integrated factory with more than 100 million square feet of planned manufacturing space will combine logic, memory and advanced packaging all under one roof.
