EmpoorioChain compiles a dedicated pallet-sbt ("soulbound token") into
the runtime at index 66, for tokens that are meant to stay permanently
attached to the account they were issued to — think credentials,
achievements, or identity-linked badges, rather than a fungible or tradeable
asset.
Unlike the fungible-token, NFT, and RWA pallets covered elsewhere on this
site, pallet-sbt's exact extrinsic list and benchmark status were not part
of this research pass — only its existence and its compiled runtime index
are confirmed. Verify its exact capabilities against live chain metadata
(or the runtime source directly) before relying on specific call names or
assuming a particular feature set.
This is a purpose-built pallet, not an opt-in extension layered on top of
pallet-emp-assets or pallet-uniques — if you need non-transferable tokens,
you use pallet-sbt directly rather than configuring a flag on a regular
fungible or NFT token.
