GnoosiS
In one line: the ecosystem's social app, in production, distributed in Spain, with a major version in testing.
com.gnoosis.gnoosis, production 1.5.9 (version code 59); 2.0.0 (version code 60) in internal testing; a beta track.- A full social hub: profiles, posts, messaging, groups, events — the surface the other apps borrow from (Warehouse's profile screen was rebuilt to match it).
- Distribution narrowed by decision in August 2026: production is Spain-only; beta had been reaching countries the owner excluded.
- Store listing: the Spanish-locale text was found in English from a template and rewritten; the contact email was corrected to a real address.
- Ads: the designed SkoopoS integration credits DMS to users for verified views and never processes advertiser payments in-app — the platform-ads model. Not yet shipped to real users; the financial-features declaration must precede it.
- Play policy block: GnoosiS itself is not blocked, but four sibling apps in production cannot receive updates until health and financial-feature declarations are filed in the console.
PompoOS
In one line: WhatsApp where there is no internet — text and location over a LoRa mesh, for daily use by the ~1 billion people without affordable data.
Started 9 September 2026. Its direction was set by the owner the same day: not an emergency system. An app installed only for the day of disaster will not be installed that day. The market is Africa-scale daily messaging; emergencies are one use case among many.
Design decisions closed:
- Free. No token, no DMS. Not ideology: it removes proof-of-relay — the mechanism that sank a well-known DePIN network — and saves ~130 bytes per packet.
- Built over Meshtastic, the open LoRa mesh stack.
- Routing, not flooding, is the whole project. With flooding the entire network moves ~0.7 messages per second whether it has one node or 7,000; with routing each cell adds its own capacity. Measured factor: 6,928×. Meshtastic does not have this solved, and it is the one genuinely open problem.
The numbers that justify it (Kenya model): 6,928 nodes cover the country for €173–277 k — less than one 4G tower — with capacity for 421 million messages a day, or 42 per person for 10 million users.
Status: design and early code. No app in a store. Web at pompoos.com.
Why together
GnoosiS is the social layer for people with data; PompoOS for people without. One is in production and the other is a document with a routing problem in it. The checkpoint records both at their real size.
