AskesoOS Privacy Policy

AskesoOS does not sell, rent, or trade student or user personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Technical education requires a distraction-free environment without surveillance.

• No behavioral ads: The application contains zero invasive ad trackers or third-party SDKs designed to monetize attention.
• Data minimization: We collect only the data essential to preserve learning paths, streaks, and certifications.
• Sovereignty of achievement: Your credentials, mastery badges, and certificates belong strictly to you and can be verified cryptographically.

To provide an effective and personalized training experience, we process the following information under your consent:

• Learner Profile: Account identifier, public alias, mastery level, and selected track.
• Practice & Learning Progress: Completed lab challenges, streak logs, module completions, and quiz responses.
• Hands-on Lab Code: Technical solutions built within interactive labs, evaluated for formative assessment and portfolio building.

AskesoOS adheres to the principle of least privilege on Android:

• Internet Access (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Strictly used to sync learning modules, download interactive labs, and verify solutions.
• No Location Access: AskesoOS does not request GPS or physical location data.
• No Camera or Microphone Access: Not required for core educational functionality.
• No Global Storage Access: The app strictly uses sandboxed private app storage.

All offline practice data and local cache reside within isolated sandbox storage. Client-server communications utilize encrypted TLS/HTTPS protocols with strict certificate validation.

We do not share your educational data or project solutions with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. Infrastructure providers operate under strict data protection agreements.

In full compliance with the European GDPR and international privacy regulations:

• Right of Access & Rectification: View and edit profile data and study preferences anytime.
• Right to Erasure: Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated practice logs.
• Right to Data Portability: Export verified certificates and portfolio project records.

AskesoOS is designed for technical skills development. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without appropriate parental or legal guardian consent.
