Counterparty Risk: Where the Ecosystem's Assets Are and Are Not

When a large intermediary fails, every project publishes a list of what it did and did not hold there. Empoorio's list is short because its exposures are few, and it is published before any failure rather than after.

Exchanges

None. DMS is not listed on any exchange, so no DMS and no project funds sit on one. There is no market-making agreement, no listing fee paid, no exchange-held reserve.

Custodians

None. No institutional custodian holds DMS or any allocation. The founder and liquidity tranches are designed as on-chain multisigs (pallet-multisig); the founder multisig is defined in the mainnet chain spec; the liquidity multisig is a placeholder to be constituted. There is no mainnet, so both hold nothing today.

Investors

None. No private round, no venture allocation. The single public sale has not opened. Nobody holds DMS by prior agreement.

Bridges

No escrow anywhere. The only cross-chain representation of DMS is a wrapped token on the Sepolia testnet whose bridge escrow holds zero DMS — a leftover of an abandoned design that represents nothing and cannot be redeemed. No bridge with real escrow exists; the chosen design (Snowbridge) is evaluated and unbuilt.

Stablecoins

The ecosystem's stable unit, DUSD, is a native pallet asset on the testnet, unissued to the public, backed by no external issuer and with no reserve at any third party. The ecosystem does not hold third-party stablecoins as treasury assets.

Infrastructure counterparties

  • Two validators and two RPC nodes at one hosting provider (IONOS, Logroño). A provider incident takes the testnet down. Stated in the decentralization report as zero fault tolerance.
  • The commerce apps' backend at a cloud provider; the Ailoos coordinator on a dedicated server; websites on two hosting platforms. These are operational dependencies, not asset custody.
  • The explorer's production database had been at a hosted provider whose free quota expired, silencing the indexer — an availability dependency, since resolved by moving it.

Fiat

The commerce apps (Eats, Manager, Riders, Square Sellers, Warehouse) settle in fiat through conventional payment rails and pay merchants to bank accounts they register. That is the ecosystem's only flow of real money today, and it does not touch DMS.

What this means

The ecosystem's token economy has no counterparty exposure because it has not yet started. Its real-money operations are a conventional delivery business. When the public sale opens, proceeds arrive in USDC and ETH on Ethereum to the sale contract; how they are custodied from there is a decision to be published before the sale, not after.

Why publish this now

Because the previous version of this page listed another ecosystem's exposures to a collapsed exchange, and because a project that can say "we hold nothing anywhere yet" should say it while it is true and update it when it stops being.

Based on TOKENOMICS_CANONICO.md, CONTRATOS_EVM.json, BRIDGE_EVALUATION.md, DECENTRALIZATION_REPORT.md and the EmpooScan audit.
