Institutional Custody Requirements Versus What EmpoorioChain Has

What an institution asks for

RequirementEmpoorioChain today
Multi-party approval for any movementpallet-multisig (index 41): N-of-M on chain, approvals visible as events. Live.
Policy engine (limits per period, allow-lists, time locks)pallet-account-abstraction session keys with scoped permissions and expiry; pallet-paymaster policies; pallet-scheduler for time-locked calls. Wired; institutional policy tooling on top: none.
Hardware-backed keysGeneric Substrate hardware-wallet flows may work via Polkadot.js; untested for this chain.
Post-quantum protectionpallet-pqc-keys: ML-DSA verification in runtime; sealed accounts reject classical signatures. Live, opt-in, per account. Consensus remains classical.
Audit trailEvery extrinsic and event on a public ledger; explorer at empooscan.com with its indexer under repair.
Custodian with insuranceNone supports DMS.
Segregated accountsTrivially: accounts are free (above a 0.01 DMS existential deposit).
Staking from custodyStash/controller separation native to Substrate staking; pallet-emp-staking.
RecoveryGuardian-based recovery designed in account abstraction; not exposed in any client.
RegulatoryNo registered operating foundation (gate item); pallet-sanctions unconfigured.
The asset itselfTestnet DMS only; no mainnet.

The honest summary

The protocol-level primitives an institutional custody product would build on are present and, in the case of multisig and PQC sealing, unusual in their completeness. The product — a custodian, its insurance, its policy console, its compliance programme — does not exist, and neither does the mainnet asset it would hold.

How the ecosystem custodies its own

Validator stash accounts off the validator hosts; seeds nowhere near shells or chats; keystore password files tightened from world-readable to owner-only; a leaked backend key revoked and replaced with server-side functions. Institutional practice, applied to a two-validator testnet, because habits form before value arrives.

The page this replaces

Announced institutional treasury infrastructure from a named custody provider for another chain. No custody provider has any relationship with EmpoorioChain. This page is what an institution's due-diligence analyst would write after reading the repository, and it is published so they need not.
