Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for all individuals participating in Empoorio Inc. communities, events, and interactions. We are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.

1. Our Pledge

We pledge to make participation in our project and community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

2. Expected Behavior

• Be respectful and considerate of others.
• Participate in an authentic and active way.
• Exercise consideration and respect in your speech and actions.
• Attempt collaboration before conflict.
• Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech.
• Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants.

3. Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to: harassment, discrimination, offensive comments, intimidation, unwelcome sexual attention, and any other conduct that is inappropriate in a professional or community setting.

4. Enforcement

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including a warning or expulsion from the community.

5. Reporting Guidelines

If you are subject to or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify us as soon as possible at legal@empoorio.org. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.
